• Check at Checkout: The easiest way to verify is to enter your postcode on the checkout page. Our system will automatically confirm if we deliver to your exact location.

• Our Core Areas: We regularly deliver to most of Sheffield, including Tinsley, Handsworth, Attercliffe, and Meadowhall.

• Distance Limit: If you are located slightly further than 8 miles away, our website may not show a delivery option. In this case, you are more than welcome to select the "Local Pickup" option to collect your fresh, egg-free cake directly from our shop.

• Special Requests: For very large events or wedding cakes outside our standard 8-mile zone, please contact us via WhatsApp or phone, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Because we take pride in baking our cakes fresh and using traditional handmade methods without preservatives, we offer Next-Day Delivery on many of our popular designs, but there are a few exceptions to keep in mind:

• Standard Cakes: Most of our classic Round, Square, and Heart-shaped cream cakes are available for next-day delivery if ordered before our daily cutoff time.

• Custom & Photo Cakes: While we work fast, cakes requiring custom toppers, specific photo prints, or intricate tiered designs may require 48 hours notice to ensure the highest quality.

• Milk Cakes & Mithai: Our signature Milk Cakes and Mix Mithai boxes are usually available for quick turnaround, making them perfect for last-minute gifts.

• Availability Check: The best way to be sure is to check the delivery calendar on the product page. If tomorrow's date is selectable, we can get it to you!

Note for Sheffield Locals: If you’ve missed the online cutoff for next-day delivery, give us a quick call at the shop in Darnall—we occasionally have "ready-to-go" cakes available for immediate local pickup.

Because our cakes are fresh, egg-free cream cakes that require immediate refrigeration, we strongly recommend that someone is at home to receive the delivery.

Here is how we handle it at Cake Palace:

• Hand-to-Hand Delivery: To ensure your cake stays level and perfect, our drivers prefer to hand it over directly to you. We do not require a formal signature, but we do need a person to accept the order.

• Perishable Items: Since we don't use preservatives, our cakes can't be left on a doorstep or in a "safe place" like a bin store or porch, as they may spoil or be damaged by heat or pets.

• Neighbor Delivery: If you won't be home, please let us know in the "Order Notes" at checkout if we can leave the cake with a specific neighbor.

• Failed Delivery: If no one is available, the driver will bring the cake back to our shop in Darnall. You can then arrange to collect it yourself or pay a small fee for a redelivery attempt.
